Alert events define actions that occur on the computer running ISA Server that can raise alerts. Alert conditions are additional criteria applied by ISA Server when alert events happen. When creating a domain namespace, you should use certain guidelines, such as limiting the number of domain levels and using unique and simple names. Zones provide a way to partition the domain namespace into smaller sections, so a zone represents a discrete portion of the domain namespace. A DNS name server stores the zone database file. Name servers can store data for one zone or multiple zones. A name server is said to have authority for the domain namespace that the zone encompasses.
